3D printing
We offer 3D printing as part of our services.
We print in a wide variety of materials and can print in high resolution of .06 of a mm.
This step aids in getting your design perfect before moving into production with molds.

Molding and casting
Molding and casting is the core of our business.
From monuments and engineering to fine art and jewelry, no project is to big or small for us and we love a good molding challenge. We have an extensive knowledge of different materials and applications to suit all molding needs.
Prototyping
Prototyping is an IP sensitive process and includes research and development to client specifications. Most of these projects are done under non-disclosure agreements, therefore we will not be displaying many images on this page. For more info contact us.

About us
The Mold Maker was founded in 2016 by William John Bezuidenhout. Our artisans can boast of 20 years’ consecutive mold making experience. We originally started producing molds for the film and fine art industry and soon expanded our knowledge to industrial design and engineering projects.
We specialize in custom design, 3d print, hand crafted molds and casting in a vast range of Silicones, Urethanes and advanced composites, specific to each client and product.
Our services include: Consultation, Design, 3d Printing and Prototyping as well as online tutoring.
We service a multitude of industries such as: engineering, mining, prototyping, film, advertising and fine arts locally and internationally.
We offer a cost effective alternative to injection molding, as we are able to do your research and development at a fraction of the cost compared to injection molding.
In addition we manufacture molds for reaction injection molding (which is a lower pressure injection system)
